Anyone who finds themselves looking at the league table and questioning whether or not Saints can maintain their position in the top four until the end of the season might want to look at their run of games until the middle of March.
Much was made of the dreadful set of fixtures in December, a time when every expert and opposition supporter with a voice was telling us that the wheels were about to come off. They certainly came loose for a period but Ronald Koeman came through that run bruised but not beaten and now people are beginning to accept his team as serious contenders.
